I spent twenty-eight years working in the production of music videos, tv commercials, and documentary films until 2008 when the recession forced me to look at my life and my goals.  Around that time I was trained and then began working as a volunteer crisis counselor at the Suicide Prevention Center.

I discovered that I love helping people and wanted to provide more lasting help than the band-aid of a hotline call.  Along the way I dealt with issues of substance abuse, family relationships, long-term grief, and suicide. That desire led to graduate school, more volunteer work at the Southern California Counseling Center, and then to where I am today-hoping to see and help you.
